The Homer Halibut Derby runs daily from May 13 - Sept 2, 2024.  You enter by day for each day you want to participate in the Derby.  The registration cost is $25 per day. Registration cuts off at 8:00 AM each day to be eligible for that day of fishing in the derby.

The weigh-in area will be at the Spit Visitor Center , located at the top of Ramp 4 in the parking lot. It will be open from 2 to 6 p.m. The minimum size to weigh a fish is 55 inches in length.
